Casper is one of my favorite guitar players and perhaps the greatest guy in the world.
Casper Rawls is a consummate professional in every aspect of his career and talent. A gentleman, stinging guitar player, producer, bandleader, writer, singer, rippin’ guitar player, and again, a gentleman. He wears all hats with style, grace, flair, and leaves his mark with his signature sound and a twinkling smile. Austin loves Casper!
Casper is one of the finest musicians that I’ve ever worked with. Not only that, but such a fine person as well. I love him!
With his trademark pink paisley telecaster slung over his shoulder, Casper’s passion for truth in music reverberates straight to your heart in every note, every bend, every cry and moan he coaxes from a humbled guitar string. He is also the kindest, gentlest soul to boot–everything music should be about.
His playing just takes it some place else. All the musicians gave beautiful art, but Casper is, once again, the innovative genius. He just pushes that little further and comes up with these sounds. He’s amazing, he does it every time.
Casper In The Key Of G-Whiz You’re The Best
You are such an unbelievable guitarist, Casper. I could close my eyes and swear that Don Rich was on that stage, and I don’t think I have ever heard another guitarist to compare to Don Rich. I mentioned that to Tom Brumley and he agreed with me completely.
You just can’t beat Casper on that gee-tar!
For many years Casper Rawls has been one of my favorite guitarists and people. Picking up where country/rock visionaries like James Burton and Clarence White left off, Casper can bend, twist and coax some powerful, abstract soulful beauty out of a six-string guitar. Hell, he could probably do the same thing with a one-string guitar. If I practiced 12 hours a day for the rest of my life I’d still not be in his league. He’s a true guitar hero who plays with intelligence as well as passion. And also a really, really good guy.
